Swashbuckler Studios Swashbuckler Studios was opened in 2002 with the mission of creating high quality and engaging television programming related to topics in American History. The studios were initially located in an historic building in Old Town Pasadena (California) just a few minutes drive from the major television and movie studios of Hollywood. After a while, however, it became obvious that most of the productions would be done "on location" at historic places throughout the U.S. Therefore, in 2004 the studios were moved to a more central location in beautiful Denver, Colorado. Swashbuckler Studios' first major production was Lost Legends of the West, a 13 part series that aired nationally on the America One Network. Lost Legends was nominated for two EMMY awards. The creative folks at the studios are currently undertaking their second production "The Amusement Park" (working title) to be released in early 2006. |
